Caztek did an outstanding job for my company, Nuwellis, on one of very complex product development efforts. Caztek engineers acted with a high level of professionalism, provided creative solutions, and completed their efforts on time and within budget. It was truly a great collaboration between an OEM and a contract design house. I would not hesitate to use Caztek again on future projects.

Mechatronics Engineering

Seamless Integration of Mechanical and Electrical Components

Mechatronics is a dynamic and multidisciplinary field that integrates mechanics, electronics, and computing to enhance product efficiency and functionality. Our mechatronic engineers are experienced in designing, developing, and testing sophisticated electro-mechanical systems across various industries, including aerospace, commercial, and automation.

Our engineers are investigators who focus on uncovering the needs of each project and finding the optimal solution.

  • Multidisciplinary Expertise: Each team member of Caztek brings a unique background and skill set to the table. Allowing us to leverage mechanics, electronics, and computing knowledge to create integrated solutions.

  • Automation and Control: Through our process, we implement modern control systems to enhance automation and operational efficiency.

  • Prototyping and Testing: We find it is a key part of our process to continually utilize prototyping and testing methods to validate system performance and durability. Everything we engineer is built to perform.

Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMA) for Accelerated Time-to-Market

DFMA combines Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) to optimize the production process. At Caztek, we implement these methodologies to ensure our customers' products are efficiently manufactured and easily assembled, minimizing labor costs.

  • Early Collaboration: We know engaging with manufacturers to refine part designs before production is essential for long-term production success.

  • Streamlined Production and Efficiency: We are focused on reducing production costs while maintaining high-quality standards.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensuring designs meet stringent quality standards to guarantee proper function, safety, and prevent assembly issues is central to a positive outcome for clients and Caztek. We stand by all our engineering solutions.

Predicting Real-World Performance with Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is a powerful method for predicting how a product reacts to real-world conditions and physical effects. At Caztek, we utilize FEA early in the development process to forecast part behavior under forces, vibration, heat, and make necessary design adjustments.

  • Early Implementation: We believe applying FEA early in the engineering process is essential to anticipating part behavior and making informed design choices.

  • Structural Integrity and Load Testing: We will analyze and optimize the structural integrity of designs to ensure durability in a variety of load cases.

  • Predictive Simulations: Conducting simulations to ensure reliability and safety under a wide range of conditions is a must to deliver a high-quality solution.

  • Material Optimization: FEA insights allow part optimization, reducing material use and ultimately lowering overall product costs.

  • Design Validation: We ensure that our designs are validated through detailed analysis to reduce the risk of failure.

Advanced Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) for Precision Engineering

Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is a branch of fluid mechanics that uses computer software to analyze the behavior of fluids and physical systems. At Caztek, we utilize advanced tools and our extensive industry expertise to predict and optimize system performance for factors such as volumetric flow rate, mass flow rate, dynamic viscosity, heat transfer, and pressure drops before prototypes are built.

Using detailed simulations, we focus on improving efficiency and performance. We assess thermal management and heat dissipation to enhance system reliability. Additionally, we integrate fluid dynamics with other physical needs for a holistic system analysis.
